The most important building in Rise Of Kingdoms is City Hall, which serves as the foundation for all other structures. Upgrades and requirements for City Hall are high; you must upgrade other buildings before you can upgrade your city hall. You will gain many benefits by upgrading your city hall, so try to do so as soon as possible.
City Hall is the only building in ROK that you must construct as soon as possible because it will unlock many benefits.
After you have upgraded your ROK city hall to level 25, you can begin to focus on the castle and academy in order to research your tier 5 troops more quickly. You can also play Rise Of Kingdoms PC for a more immersive experience.
To get to level 25, you must use universal speedups on City Hall, but you should no use them on the other buildings.
Do not be concerned if you upgraded your CH to level 25 without purchasing a growth bundle. You will be able to purchase it later and receive all rewards from level 1 to level 25.

Why you should upgrade your City Hall
There are numerous reasons why you should upgrade the city hall, but the most important is that you will gain power and progress faster in Rise Of Kingdoms.
Other advantages of upgrading city hall in Rise of Kingdoms include:
- Unlocks technology research
- More dispatches- the more troops you can send out, the faster you can farm, destroy barbarians, and obtain tier 5 units.
- Troop Capacity– enables you to send more troops with your commanders, allowing you to gather more troops, destroy barbarians faster, fight, and so on.
- Hospital capacity- it will allow you to upgrade your hospital so you do not lose troops.
- Events- Some events, such as Kingdoms vs. Kingdoms, require you to have city hall on level 17 to participate.
- Rewards for Era Breakthrough City Hall Upgrades
City Hall level 17
City hall level 17 is significant in Rise of Kingdoms for two reasons. The first thing you’ll notice is that you’ll be able to unlock fourth dispatch units, which will be useful for gathering faster on your main account, and city hall level 17 will be the point at which you’ll stop upgrading your farm account. For farm accounts, going above city hall level 17 is not worth it.
The second reason is that most Kingdom vs Kingdoms events in Rise Of Kingdoms require city hall level 17. You will not be able to teleport to the kingdom vs kingdom map if your account is less than level 17.
You can reach city hall level 17 in 15 days if you join an active alliance with nice buffs.
