In Rise of Kingdoms, Dido is a legendary archer commander. She has the Archer, Garrison, and Support talent tree.

Should you invest in Dido?

Dido is an extremely strong hero in Rise Of Kingdoms but she is not for all players. If you are a pay-to-win player, definitely invest in her. If you are a free-to-play player, you should stay away from her because she can only be used for defending objectives in AOO and KVK. She does not have good skills for field fighting. As a free-to-play player, It is better to invest in a strong open-field commander that you will use all the time.

Dido’s first skill is powerful with anti-swarm mechanics. She will reduce skill damage from 5 enemies, which is extremely useful in AOO and KVK where a lot of players are swarming buildings. Her other skills are also good and they counter infantry units making her worth using for defending objectives, but unfortunately, she is simply too bad for field fighting.

Dido Pairings

When it comes to pairings for Dido, there are not a lot of options simply because there are not a lot of good garrison archers commanders in Rise Of Kingdoms. If you get Dido, make sure that you test different pairings like Dido + Heraclius or Dido + Amanitore by going to the AOO practice match.

Amanitore is a great pairing for Dido. Amanitore will deal a good amount of damage, while Dido will provide anti-swarm and survivability to this pairing.
