Should you invest in Zhuge Liang?

Zhuge Liang is an extremely powerful commander. Every player should definitely invest in him and upgrade him to the max level and skills. What is great about Zhuge Liang and why all players should invest in him, is his ability to deal an insane amount of AOE damage. On top of that, his first skill will reduce enemy damage by 15%, which is a lot.

Every single player should have it as part of their commander setup for fighting in the field and in AOO. Zhuge Liang is so versatile that you can pair him with almost any archer commander. Overall, Zhuge Liang must have a commander for both free-to-play and pay-to-win players.

If you decide to get Zhuge Liang, make sure that you upgrade his skills to 5511 and then 5551 to get most of him at the start.

Boudica Prime is best paired with Zhuge Liang but you can pair him with any archer commander. That is why this commander is ideal for free-to-play players who do not have access to all commanders. Burning of Xinye

Deals direct damage to up to 5 nearby enemy troops (Damage Factor 1200). Damage dealt to each target is reduced by 15% for each additional target. In addition, all targets deal 5% less damage for the next 3 seconds.

Upgrade Preview:
Direct Damage Factor: 1200 / 1400 / 1600 / 1800 / 2000
Damage Reduction: 5%/ 7%/ 9%/ 12%/ 15%/

This skill is extremely powerful. It will deal an insane amount of nuke damage to five targets, and on top of that, it will reduce their damage by 15%, which is insane.

Borrowing Arrows

Archer units led by this commander gain 10% increased Health and deal 1% extra damage. Whenever this commander’s troop is inflicted with a control effect while on the map, it has a 50% chance to negate the effect and deal direct damage (Damage Factor 200)to the attacking troop. This effect can trigger once every 5 seconds.

Borrowing Arrows is also a strong skill that will increase an archer’s health by 30%, and it has an anti-buff system that will counter commanders that have control effects like Boudica Prime.

Longzhong Plan

If this commander’s contains only archer units, it deals 5% extra skill damage. Normal attacks from this commander’s troop have a 10% chance to increase the Attack of their archer units by 25% for 3 seconds. This can trigger once every 5 seconds.

Archer Attack Increase: 25% / 30% / 35% / 40% / 50%

This skill is also good, it will increase your overall damage.

Marquis Zhongwu

Whenever this commander uses an active skill, their troop gains the Marquis effect (increases dealt by 2%) for 10 seconds if it does not already have it. If their troop contains only archer units and it has the Marquis effect, whenever this commander uses an active skill, they will consume the Marquis effect to deal direct damage to up to 3 nearby enemy troops (Damage Factor 700) direct damage dealt through this method is not affected by buffs to skill damage.

Chu Shi Biao

Upon entering battle, this commander’s troops gains the Marquis effect (10% increased damage) for 15 seconds. Each time their Burning Of Xinye or Marquis Zhongwu skills deal skill damage, this commander’s troop immediately gains 30 Rage.
