Egypt is a civilization in Rise of Kingdoms that benefits archer players in particular. If you are a player who spends a lot of time fighting, especially rallying structures and using archer troops, you should switch to Egyptian civilization.
Egypt Civilization stats
If you choose the Egypt civilization in Rise Of Kingdoms, you’ll receive three distinct bonuses. You will gain a 5% increase in archer attack, 5% more damage to gathered troops (flags, forts, cities), and a 1.5 percent increase in research and building speed.
The 5 percent attack bonus for archers is not as impressive as it seems. Defense and health are the most valuable attributes in Rise of Kingdoms, especially for archer troops who have relatively low defense and health.
5% more damage to gathered troops is insanely good if you are a player who will continuously rally objectives like flags and forts but for an open field is useless.
The final buff you will receive with the Egypt civilization in Rise of Kingdoms is a ridiculously low 1.5 percent increase in research and building speed. Other civilizations, such as Korea, are better for new players.
Egypt special units
In Rise Of Kingdoms, the Egyptian special units in Rise Of Kingdoms, Maryannu are fantastic. They are equipped with a nice amount of stats boost but they are not groundbreaking that they will change the meta of archer troops. They still need more testing to see if they are worth getting.
Should you change your civilization to Egypt?
Egypt is a great civilization in Rise Of Kingdoms, but it is typically not worthwhile to switch to Egypt for a number of reasons. First, it is unlikely if you are free to play player that you will rally objectives in Rise of Kingdoms, so you will never benefit from the 5 percent damage bonus for gathered troops. If you are a player who rallies all the time you should get it but only if your main focus is archer troops.
Now there are two additional scenarios. If you are a player who is constantly rallying and fighting on an open field, then the Ottoman Empire is your civilization. If your primary objective is to rally and you do not engage in a great deal of combat on an open field, Egypt is the ideal civilization for you.
Egypt’s civilization is great and has many benefits if used correctly, but if you are a new player it is best to avoid it and instead check the Rise of Kingdoms Civilization Tier List to determine the best civilization for you. Only use Egypt as a new player if you wish to admire the stunning Egyptian architecture and models.
Egypt Commander
Imhotep and Thutmose III are the new Egypt commanders. Imhotep is an epic archer commander that you should get no matter what. Imhotep is an exceptional epic commander whose first skill is incredibly useful for new players and servers.
Thutmose is a great commander for new kingdoms that will easily counter Richard, so get him if you are playing KVK 1 in Rise of Kingdoms. Both can be obtained from gold chests, expeditions, and events if you’re lucky. Overall they are both great archer commanders that will definitely have an impact on new kingdoms.
